Melinda: You had an injury toward the end of the season how, important do you think it is to
show the scouts that you’re 100 percent?

Zac: I’m really not worried about it. I know that healed up well, my shoulder is feeling a hundred
times better than it did even in our bowl game. So I know it’s going in the right direction and
hopefully I’ll just show them this week that it’s not bothering me, and just move on.

Melinda: What is the one thing you’d most like to show the scouts this week

Zac: A lot of questions with teams that run a spread type of system is taking snaps from under
center, read your progressions, working one side of the field to the next. It is a little bit different
from what I’ve done in college but I’m starting to get more comfortable with it as the day went on
today and as the week goes on it’s just a matter of repetitions and getting your footwork down,
and get timing with these receivers.

Melinda: How do you plan to get on the same page as the receivers this week?

Zac: You just gotta get a feel for everybody, and hopefully they’ll be consistent in their routes and
they are going to continue to improve throughout the week. You just kinda get a feel for a guy
and you just try and get him the ball as much as you can if he’s open. I’m looking forward to
working with these guys, we got some great receivers out there they were making plays today for
us so it’s gonna be a lot of fun.

Melinda: During your time as Oklahoma State what was the most important thing you learned on
or off the field?

Zac: I’d probably say how to handle adversity and how to bounce back from tough situations. Our
team faced a lot of adversity this year it was the way we responded still winning nine games and
having a good year with maybe not as much talent as a lot of the teams that we played. So I think
just that and I guess that’s about it.

Melinda: If you compared yourself to any QB in the NFL who would you compare yourself to and
why?

Zac: I’m really not sure. I try not to compare myself to anybody who’s already in the NFL I’m not
there yet so I know I’m trying to work to be like those guys.

Melinda: Any plans on draft day?

Zac: I haven’t really thought about it I’ll probably watch it with my family or something, hanging out
in Denver. I haven’t really thought about it but I’m sure it will be something along those lines.
